As a charter member in 1981 of the Faribault Heritage Preservation Commission and serving as a member and chairman until 1998, I have long had an interest in preserving our architectural heritage and educating the community of our unique history. The Commission was instrumental in researching and listing 42 properties within Faribault and an additional 28 properties within Rice County on the National Register of Historic Places and designating the downtown area as a Historic District.
Our design team takes this background and creates plans for additions, remodelings, and restorations that blend seamlessly with the existing structures. Our staff and crew have expertise in historic materials and techniques to restore your property to exacting standards or update it within its historic context. We have the capability to match historic millwork, resources for period lighting and fixtures, and skilled carpenters to create detailing unique to your project.
